You can take a tour of these islands from Granada..or if you are lucky like me..you will find someone who owns an island who will allow you to camp out on it!!
I spent one day here and then a bunch of us returned to camp out..a word of warning camping on a bed of palm fronds on a private island SOUNDS much more "romantic" than it is! It gets COLD out there at night, and the fire ants will e at you alive!!
That being said we had a great time and the family who live on the island as cartakers were wonderfully hopsitable. No electricity, no running water, but amazing. My camera lost the photos of the sunrise ion the island but in a word - Spectacular. |
