| Masaya Volcano |
| To get to this active volcano take the bus to Masaya and ask to be let off at the park entrance. I do warn you though that the climb up to the top is wquite brutal. Carlos came along with me, and we were lucky enough to get a ride to the top with a park employee. We were not so lucky on the way down and we almost COOKED in the sun, luckily 2 scientists from Canada (is the world ever a small place) stopped by and gave us a ride after about 2 hours of walking!!
