Bobby
As mentioned I called Bobby and met him for a drink, the drink ended up lasting about 16 hours (and definitely more than one drink) . Bobby was on his way to a wake for Bill, the founder of La Esperanza Granada (a NGO) and also the original owner of the Hostal Central. I wound up at the wake, meeting a wonderful cast of characters and then back to Bobby;'s place for more drinks and revelry..I moved into his place the next day.
Bobby and I still "talk" almost daily via the internet, he's a great guy a natural comic and I thank him ever so much for the insights and fun he provided in Nicaragua. I thank him more for his continued friendship.
Here are some photos of Bobby, his great old colonial home and some of the people I met through him.
