Mom in Morocco 2001
		This is a short account of an equally short (8 days) trip I took to Spain and Morocco. I have been to Spain 8 times, actually did one summer in Santander as an exchange student- we won't mention how many years ago!! Don and I had been to morocco in 1976 (yeesh I feel old!) for 3 weeks doing the southern trail (Casablanca-Marakesh-Ouarzazat-Taroudant-Agadir-Essouira), so this was Not unfamiliar territory. The fact though that I was heading out alone was new. I was not worried about Spain (I speak fluent Spanish), but the thought of landing in Tangiers (via ferry) a single female, was, I admit a bit daunting. But heh, I'd survived India twice and so with minimal planning and a last minute discount ticket off I went. As you can see, I made it home in one piece, so here's the tale:
