| India and Nepal 1998 |
| Here's the travelogue of our 5 week trip to India and Nepal ( with a brief unsceduled stop in London !) in the Spring of 1998. I have divided it into chapters, as it is quite long. I have only included one or two photos in each chapter, there are lots of photos in the accessible either by clicking on the photos below, or through the home page. My hope is that families will be inspired to travel with their children, exposing them to the wealth of culture in our world. From experience I can say that the small trials and tribulations of such a trip, are far outweighed by the rewards. Our two boys will never forget the experience which helped mold their personalities for life. Formal eductaion is invaluable, however real-life experience is irreplaceable. The benefits to a family as a unit are not trifling either. Spending 24 hours of every day together, through many a new experience, has forged a closeness to our family which is truely refreshing in today's culture. For those of you considering such a trip, as mentioned before...JUST DO IT! |
